First song online + new album details revealed! Metalfest Open Air 2010!

Finally this is time for big news package about our new album KURBADS, which will be released by METAL BLADE on 23/26 April in Europe, 11 May in North America!
Today we would like to post online first song of new album "Kurbads" and reveal album cover and song titles!

SKYFORGER recorded KURBADS at Latvian studio Lauska in 2009 together with the bands own bagpipe player Kaspars Barbals handling engineering duties.
The band members also produced the album themselves. The artwork was created by SKYFORGER´s guitarist Martins and is connected to the whole story of Kurbads

About 15 years yet, the thundergod SKYFORGER is raging upon the horizon of Latvian pagan metal. This Baltic heathen quintet could reap their high status within the underground scene by their unique musical vein and charm: bizarre, but melodic black metal in the style of Scandinavian school anchors in a nostalgic heavy metal-basement, which is substantial surrounded by a dominant and very self-contained folk-metal-storm. So open your senses for another, grandiose pagan-scenario at METALFEST !
